Après avoir intégré une nouvelle unité de la BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance), Chris Redfield que l'on retrouve enfin dans cet épisode, est envoyé en Afrique dans un petit village appelé Kitjutsu (Kijuju).

Suite à des récents actes bioterroristes survenus en 2008, les habitants et les animaux de ce village sont transformés en créatures féroces et dénuées de conscience.

Chris devra faire éclater la vérité pour déjouer un complot maléfique.

A l'aide de sa partenaire Sheva Alomar, il devrait également affronter les protagonistes responsables de ces incidents, qui ne sont autres que son ennemi de toujours... le terrible Albert Wesker, secondé cette fois ci par la mystérieuse Excella Gionne.
